Week I – Summer News Flash and Highlights
Mt. Aetna Camp (Lynzee Brival & Doug Hess)
It does happen on and off. We had a baptism for Adventurer Week. Amen!
Jose Cortez Jr., the Associate Ministerial Director of the NAD, baptized one of our older Adventurers today. More information will be sent if the details are needed.
All three teen camps (Horse, Waterskiing, Extreme) went well. Next week is Junior I
FYI: The pool, still looks like green pea soup, MARC is working on it. We may be able to apply for a world record for the greenest and environmental friendly pool on record. In a strange way, it is beautiful, just not swimmable.
FLAG Camp (Randy Myaing /Puia Fanai)
A much higher enrollment at the Park SDA Church than expected. Great news! The new pastor at Park, using the normal verbiage of Baltimore, was the bomb! For his first year working with FLAG Camp, it was a fantastic and exceptional organizational effort on his part.
Our new youth pastor for Eastern Shore, Puia Fanai, is helping as well as getting to know the local churches and their youth.
Next Week is Beacon of Light
The Edge (Cesar Gonzalez / Trip Leader Keith Blair)
They will be heading out to Panama in a few days; Keith Blair will give us more updates.
Pastor Cesar will be heading to Roatan, and will be helping with more needed details for next year’s mission trips at our new location.
Youth Advisories (Steve Finney)
Pastor Steve Finney is working on the 4 areas (South, West, Northeast, and Northwest) getting them up to speed with our objectives. We are looking forward to an excellent 2016-2017 year for our youth.
Youth Evangelism (Carl Rodriguez & Ann Reynolds)
Three projects were submitted to the Columbia Union for funding and approval. Once we get their news, we will share it with the team.
Blessings to all,
